BIOGRAPHY
Michael R. Hobbie is a partner and represents individuals who have sustained serious personal injuries and have claims based on negligence, motor vehicle crashes, construction site incidents, premises liability and products liability, as well as those individuals who have sustained injuries at work and have workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to joining H&D, Mr. Hobbie practiced in Manhattan at Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith specializing in civil litigation and white-collar crime and with Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler, LLP, New York, specializing in the defense of products liability actions.
Mr. Hobbie is a 1990 graduate from Fordham University School of Law, New York, where he made the Dean’s List and won the American Jurisprudence Award for Products Liability. In 1987, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. While at Rutgers, he earned the Class of 1984 Academic Scholarship and won the Edward McNall Burns Award for 1987.
Mr. Hobbie is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York.
